1950s Party Ideas

If you plan on throwing your own 1950s party for Halloween or any other time of the year, consider incorporating some of these ideas into your event:

*Serve tall sundaes or sodas in a retro dessert dish, and remember the tall straws.

*Have a 50s theme sheet cake decorated by a professional bakery.
*Guests should come dressed in a 1950s costume.
*If you can find vintage magazine covers from that time period, use them for wall decorations, or better yet, place entire magazines around your home from that time period.
*Table decorations, tableware, and other decorations should all have a 50s theme, if possible.
