All I Got For Christmas Was a Lousy Christmas Stocking! 🙁

Every year it’s the same thing. The holidays! And I love it! Same old routine. Gift shopping. Preparing big happy meals. Seeing family and friends that you haven’t seen in forever! What’s not to like?

Been celebrating the Christmas holiday for over 5 decades and one time gave a gingerbread house kit to a friend. She thought it was pretty cool. She had two young daughters at the time and figured it would be fun to build the house together.

Kits are cool stuff, aren’t they?

What is great about kits is that they make feel like you can be creative when you know you have little or no artistic skills or abilities. But you like looking at your finished product … whether it was paint by numbers, follow the dotted lines, whatever! … and thinking (bragging) to yourself: ‘Yeah! I made that myself!’

Went wish list shopping online and found the coolest thing! Kits to make your own Christmas stockings. Isn’t that fabulous idea?

Make them as gifts, adding in your TLC (tender loving care), and give them as gifts. The one who receives them can keep them for … forever! Or longer. Whichever comes first. 🙂

Of course, you should probably put a little “something extra” inside the stocking as well. Even though you have the best of intentions, family and friends can sometimes be very unforgiving. No need to say it out loud. But you know it’s true true true!
