One of the very first things a person should learn when they are interested in learning sign language is start with the American Sign Language Colors. The reason I suggest learning American Sign Language Colors first is because many of them have some other sign, like a letter sign for example as their root. For example, the color purple in American sign language is the letter “P” shaken (not stirred..lol).
